304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel are commonly used in thermos bottle. The nature of 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel is not much different. All belong to American standard austenitic stainless steel. First of all, stainless steel is resistant to weak corrosive media such as air, steam, water, or stainless steel.
After detailed analysis, the data proves that:
1. The density of 304 is 7.93g/cm, which is also called 18/8 stainless steel in the industry. As a widely used steel, it has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties; hot workability such as stamping and bending is relatively good, no heat treatment hardening phenomenon, non-magnetic, operating temperature -196℃—— 800°C.
2. 316 has more molybdenum than 304, so its corrosion resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance and high temperature strength are particularly good. Generally, the high temperature resistance can reach 1200℃-1300℃, and it can be used freely even under very harsh conditions.
In summary, the density of 316 and 304 are different, and the degree of high temperature resistance is different. The high temperature resistance of 316 is more than twice that of 304, and the second is that it has more element molybdenum. The effect of putting into production and using in the vacuum flask is better. The following test table.
